PIEDMONT BASEBALL LEAGUE
in Hockessin, Delaware.

Piedmont has been operating as a recreational youth baseball program in Hockessin, Delaware since 1976. We became affiliated with Babe Ruth Baseball, Inc. in 1992.

Piedmont serves roughly 1000 children for its main program: spring-time Baseball for youth ages 5 to 18 years-old and Softball for girls’ ages 8 - 14 years-old. In addition to our competitive spring leagues, we traditionally organize a less competitive, instructional baseball program during the fall months. Clinics are organized during the winter for the training of players, adult coaches, and umpires.

Piedmont Tournament teams have competed successfully in Delaware State and Mid-Atlantic Regional play. In 2006, we won the Delaware State Championship at the 9, 11, 13 and 15 year-old age groups. In 1998, two Piedmont teams were Mid-Atlantic Regional Champions: 10 year-olds & 13 year-olds. In 1995, our 10 year-old team won the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship. In 1994, our 12&under team won the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship and finished 3rd in the nation.

Piedmont Baseball League, Inc. is a non-profit organization run by volunteers from the Hockessin, DE community. We rely on local business sponsorship to defer expenses of field maintenance, equipment and capital upgrades. Please go out of your way to thank our Sponsors!

We invite you to come out and visit our Swift Park fields and enjoy an evening of exciting youth baseball action.
